This charming old tree, standing proudly at the edge of Lake Sils, is a silent witness to the breathtaking scenery of mountains and water that surrounds it.
Like the famed tree in Wanaka, this tree carries its own story of resilience and loss. After the harsh winter of 2020, it was damaged, losing its most prominent branch—a transformation that only adds to its drama and mystique.
